The short version
6 things to know.
- Paid from your NDIS plan, at or below the NDIS price limit.
- Billed after each session. Nothing in advance, and no lump sum.
- Stop any time. You pay only for what's delivered, and there's no exit fee.
- Give 2 business days' notice to move a session and there's no charge.
- Travel is charged only where it applies, and shown on your quote first.
- Complain to us or the NDIS Commission at any time. It never affects your program.
1Who we are
- 1.1Impact6 is a program of Capacity Builders Skilling & Training Pty Ltd (ABN 21 639 524 495), a registered NDIS provider (registration 4053448890), at Suite 284, Tenancy 111, Camberwell Place, 793 Burke Road, Camberwell VIC 3124.
- 1.2"We", "us" and "our" mean Capacity Builders. "You" means the participant and, where someone signs for them (a parent, guardian or nominee), that person too.
2How these terms work
- 2.1These terms cover your use of this website and how we deliver Impact6 programs.
- 2.2Every program starts with a written service agreement you sign. It names the NDIS support items, the hours, the most the program can cost, and how travel, non-face-to-face time and cancellations are charged. If these terms and your service agreement differ, your service agreement applies.
- 2.3Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the NDIS Act, the NDIS Code of Conduct or the Australian Consumer Law.
3Starting a program
- 3.1Checking your plan, choosing a start week or sending your details isn't a booking yet. We hold your start week for 3 business days while you complete your intake form and service agreement. If it isn't signed by then, the week is released and you can choose another.
- 3.2Your program is booked once the service agreement is signed and we confirm your start week in writing.
- 3.3If your plan doesn't have the funding the program needs, we'll tell you before anything is booked and nothing is charged.
- 3.4For a participant under 18, a parent or guardian signs. We also ask for the young person's own agreement, in a way they understand.
- 3.5For a participant under 18, a parent, a guardian, or an adult carer the parent names in writing before the first session must be present for the whole of every session. At home, that means in the home within sight or hearing. On outings, it means going along. This is a condition of the program, and no consent form replaces it. If no adult is present, the session doesn't start. If the adult leaves and isn't back within 10 minutes, the session ends. Either is charged as a short-notice cancellation under 6.2. During activities the adult watches without helping.
4Prices and paying
- 4.1Each program is up to 36 hours: 24 face to face and 12 scoring, tailoring, planning and reporting. The 12 hours are a ceiling, not a target. We charge only for time actually used.
- 4.2We charge at or below the NDIS price limit in force when the support is delivered. In 2026–27 that's $193.99 an hour, so the most a program costs is $6,984, plus travel where it applies.
- 4.3We claim after each session or activity is delivered. We never charge in advance or as one fee. If your plan is NDIA-managed, we claim through the NDIA. If it's plan-managed, we invoice your plan manager. If it's self-managed, we invoice you, and payment is due within 3 days.
- 4.4NDIS supports delivered under your plan and service agreement are GST-free where the GST law's conditions are met. If a support wouldn't be GST-free, we'll tell you before we deliver it.
- 4.5Our prices change only when the NDIS price limits change, or if you agree in writing. We'll tell you in writing before any change applies to you.
- 4.6If we make a billing mistake, we'll fix it and refund you or correct the claim promptly.
5Travel
- 5.1Where your practitioner travels to you, travel time may be charged under the NDIS provider travel item, at or below its price limit. That's up to 30 minutes per session in cities and large towns (MMM 1 to 3) and up to 60 minutes in smaller towns (MMM 4 to 5), and only where your service agreement allows it.
- 5.2Your quote shows any travel before you sign.
6Moving or cancelling a session
- 6.1Give us at least 2 clear business days' notice to move or cancel a session and there's no charge.
- 6.2If you cancel with less notice, don't attend, aren't at the agreed place at the agreed time, or, for a participant under 18, no parent or carer is present as 3.5 requires, we may charge up to the full fee for that session, as the NDIS cancellation rules allow. We only do this where your practitioner couldn't use the time for other paid work.
- 6.3We'll try to fit a missed session back in within your 6 weeks. If the program needs to pause, it can restart within four weeks. After that, we finish the program and report on what was done.
- 6.4If we cancel a session, there's no charge and we'll offer you another time.
7Ending a program
- 7.1You can end your program at any time, for any reason, by telling your practitioner or us. You pay only for sessions and work delivered up to then. There's no exit fee.
- 7.2We may end a program if continuing wouldn't be safe or suitable, or if these terms or your service agreement are seriously broken. We'll explain why in writing and give at least 7 days' notice, unless there's an immediate risk to someone's safety. We'll also help you move to another provider.
8After your program
- 8.1Your Outcome Report is sent within 5 working days of your last session.
- 8.2We send a short feedback form 4 and 8 weeks later. If more support would help, we'll quote any new sessions separately, and it's your choice.
9Our practitioners and your safety
- 9.1Programs are delivered by a registered allied health practitioner, such as an occupational therapist, developmental educator, speech pathologist, social worker or psychologist, registered with AHPRA or accredited by their professional body. Each one holds NDIS Worker Screening clearance and is trained in the Impact6 Manual.
- 9.2We aim to keep the same practitioner for your whole program. If illness, leave or something similar means your practitioner can't continue, we'll tell you as soon as we can and arrange a suitably qualified replacement trained in the Impact6 Manual, so your program can still finish on time. If you'd rather not continue with a new practitioner, you can end the program with no exit fee.
- 9.3We report incidents to the NDIS Commission as the law requires.
- 9.4We ask everyone (participants, families, practitioners and our team) to treat each other with respect.
10What we promise
- 10.1We'll deliver your program with care and skill, as described in your service agreement.
- 10.2Everyone is different, so we can't promise a particular result.
11Your privacy
- 11.1We handle your personal and health information under the Privacy Act 1988 and our Privacy Policy. We keep records for 7 years, as the NDIS requires.
- 11.2We only video record a session with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time, and it won't affect your program.
- 11.3We only use your information in research or outcome studies if you give separate consent. Saying no doesn't change your program.
- 11.4We never use photos or videos of you, or anything you post, in our marketing without your separate written consent.
12Complaints and disputes
- 12.1You can tell us about a problem at any time, in any way. We acknowledge every complaint within 2 working days and answer it in writing. Making a complaint never affects your program.
- 12.2You can also contact the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission at any time on 1800 035 544, or through ndiscommission.gov.au.
- 12.3If we disagree about something, we'll first try to sort it out together. That never stops you going to the NDIS Commission, Consumer Affairs Victoria or a tribunal.
13Your consumer rights
- 13.1Our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded, including that they're provided with due care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes those rights.
- 13.2If something outside our reasonable control (such as a natural disaster, a pandemic or a government order) stops a session, we'll tell you as soon as we can and offer another time. You're never charged for sessions that weren't delivered.
14Our materials and this website
- 14.1Our website and program materials, including handouts and practice sheets, belong to Capacity Builders and are protected by copyright. You're welcome to use them for your own program and share them with your family, carers and support team. Please don't copy them for any business use.
- 14.2The information on this website is general. The plan check tells you whether Impact6 may suit you. It isn't an assessment.
- 14.3We may update these terms, and the date below shows when they last changed. A change doesn't alter a service agreement you've already signed unless you agree in writing. If a change affects your program, we'll tell you, and you can end the program with no exit fee.
- 14.4These terms are governed by the law of Victoria. That doesn't remove any right you have to use a regulator or tribunal where you live.
