Programs
Capacity Builders provides a variety of programs designed to help individuals achieve greater independence. Our programs include driver licence preparation, job readiness training, life skills enhancement, and more. All programs are accessible online and can be completed at your own pace.
Our programs are open to all individuals across Australia. If you are registered with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), you may be able to use your NDIS funds to cover the cost of the programs.
To enrol in a program, click the Refer Your Client button and select the program you’re interested in. Complete the details in the form. You will receive confirmation and access to the program materials via email.
Our programs are delivered online with additional support as required. You will receive access to the course materials through our learning platform, which you can access from any internet-enabled device.

Once enrolled, you will have lifetime access to the materials. This allows you to learn at your own pace and revisit the content whenever needed.
Our programs are specifically designed for completion at your own pace. Support is available via phone, SMS or email.
Yes, our programs can be accessed from all locations.
Our programs are designed to be self-paced and user-friendly, our support team is available to assist you through any queries you may have.

- Clear your browser cache and cookies.
- If the problem persists, contact our support team for further assistance.
The programs are currently being converted into different languages.
The course is currently being translated and will be available shortly.
Free optional driving lessons are included in programs.
The payment is made by you.
We are confident you will love the program content but in the unlikely event that you don’t, we can’t refund the purchase of training material that has been received by you.
The program fee is payable at registration because we make all content, quizzes and practice tests available to you at commencement.
NDIS Clients
Yes, if you have adequate funding within your NDIS Plan, you may be able to use your plan to pay for our programs.
NDIS clients can enrol in a program by selecting the Refer Your Client button on our website and completing the registration form.
Our programs can be claimed under various separate NDIS codes. We will send you the program content and invoice you or your nominated plan manager.

If you encounter any issues or need assistance with your NDIS claim, speak with your support coordinator or plan manager.
We are currently in the process of registering to become a registered NDIS provider. In the interim, you are welcome to purchase the program at your own cost.

For NDIS and self managed clients, invoices are forwarded to the plan manager or invoice contact 3 – 5 days after registration (depending on program). For some programs, there will be a series of invoices due to the length of the program.
Based on NDIS guidelines, we invoice after the program content has been delivered. It is estimated that the content would require 2 to 4 weeks for completion.
As the program is online, it can be done remotely. There is no requirement for you to attend an office or for a member of our team to come to you.
Absolutely, our programs can all be purchased directly by you and do not need to be paid via your NDIS plan.
Absolutely, the program is an ideal opportunity to work closely with your support worker.
The premium and deluxe programs consist of approximately 40 hours of completion content in the form of videos, quizzes, practice tests and workbooks. Animation, short summaries and a self paced concept ensure that participants are not overwhelmed by the process. The inclusion of free driving lessons enable practical application of the program and do not form part of the program cost.
The Xpress programs are shorter versions of the above program descriptor and do not include free lessons.
Additional FAQ's
In addition to the mandatory government learning to obtain official permits and licences, select courses offer free driving lessons. All courses also develop soft skills such as time management, decision making and organization skills.
Soft skills are transferrable skills (things like planning & organising) which are important skills for life management but especially important for employers and for job seekers in new and existing roles. Knowing how a job is done (hard skills) is just as important (and sometimes more so) as having the skills to self-motivate, plan and organise their time so that it’s also a job done well.
No prior experience is required however your client will need their learner permit if you want to do driving lessons!
