Duncan Brown

Managing Director

Duncan spent five years as CEO of SU Queensland, a parachurch youth and children's ministry employing more than 260 staff across Queensland. Under Duncan's leadership SU's revenue and staffing levels more than doubled from around $4 million to $10 million; equity grew significantly; and SU gained footholds into new donor markets including conceiving and building Queensland's largest fundraising dinner. Prior to his time with SU Duncan worked in an associate editor capacity with News Limited in Melbourne and as a senior journalist with the Rural Press Group in Queensland. He has a Bachelor or Arts majoring in journalism and PR and Bachelor of Ministry degree.

Michelle Farrall

Communications Director

Michelle spent four years working for leading communications agency Royce Communications as Strategy Manager, developing marketing and communications strategies, brand strategies and positioning, public relations, media liaison, research, event management and issues management. Clients included Nike, Coca-Cola, Sensis (Yellow Pages, Trading Post), SPC Ardmona, Coles Myer, Pacific Brands and the Victorian Government's Play it Safe by the Water Campaign.

Tim Hein

Consultant - Strategic Planning

Tim has worked for over ten years with diverse catalytic churches and organisations including a large evangelical church, a large pentecostal church, and an emerging missional church plant. He was also on faculty at Tabor Victoria, and also spent several years living in community and ministering through Concern Australia and St Martins with John Smith (God's Squad). He is currently SA Director of FORGE, is the Media Spokesman for Encounter Schoolies, and speaks often at churches, conferences, festivals and Bible Colleges. He is planning a new Missional Project.

Angela McMahon

Communications Consultant

Angela is a trained marketing specialist with a wealth of experience in the corporate and not-for-profit sector. With over 15 years' experience, she has worked for small and large global organizations in the UK and Australia. Her experience includes roles within marketing strategy, communications, campaign and database management including four years as a marketing specialist with Reuters, the global information provider. Angela recently spent over three years at World Vision Australia as Marketing Manager developing the marketing strategy and communications plan to engage Australian Churches. She has a post graduate diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK.

Rosalind Grace

Events Director

A tertiary-trained event manager, Rosalind has spent the last three years managing corporate fundraising events such as SU Queensland's A Night with James Morrison and the Frontline Appeal Dinner, which included 1800 guests at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. Her event management experience includes production and logistics management, staff co-ordination, liaison with all major stakeholders, producing event resources, event styling and theming. Rosalind has over 15 years' Administration and Customer Service experience.

Joelle Morgan

Events Consultant

Joelle has worked as an Events and Conference Manager for the last 7 years alongside various organisations developing event branding and marketing, delivery strategies, and relationship management. She has produced many conferences, special events, theatre productions, concerts and product launches. Prior to that, Joelle worked for international company Servcorp as Marketing & Sales Executive specialising in sales and marketing strategies, developing key business relationships and public relations. Her clients have included: Dayspring Church, Bank of America, Rothschild, Schlumberger, LJ Hooker, Brisbane Cosmetic Clinic, Harvest International Ministries and Conde Nast Publications (Vogue Magazine).

Jo Thorpe

Events Consultant

Jo has experience organizing fundraising dinners, weekend-stay conferences and day events for TEAR Australia over the past 5 years. She spent a year as a volunteer on the Make Poverty History Festival Committee and runs fundraising dinners at a local church level on a regular basis. She practices as a physiotherapist on weekends and has a Masters of International and Community Development, inspired by time spent living in Bosnia and remote Northern Territory over the past ten years.

Caryn Rogers

Communications Consultant

Caryn spent three years working at one of South Australia's largest Uniting Church. In her role as Operations Director, she helped to facilitate the successful running of the church. She also was a key player in their Out of the Valley Conferences, including managing the volunteer team. Caryn's two bachelor degrees in Professional Writing and Theology have given her a solid skill base in both writing and theological thinking. She has further skills in editing, project and event management, research, creative media and public speaking.
